How To Relax

How To Relax

You know you've had that time where all you want to do is relax but you can't seem to find the best way. After hearing many of my friends complain about this I thought it was time I did a blog about it.

Now the first thing I like to do is change into something comfortable, weather that be a jumper and jogging bottoms or my onesie. Recently I've really enjoyed wearing my Oskar onesie from Drop Dead.

Then I usually light a subtle candle, my favorite has always been Beach Walk by Yankee candles. Any candle you find subtle and calming will work.

Some people prefer peace and quite, I like having soft music playing. A few of my favorite songs are, Autumn leaves-Ed Sheeran, Kissing in cars- Pierce The Veil, Lavender Moon- Haroula Rose, The Funeral-Band of Horses, and Special death- Mirah.

Drawing can be relaxing, even if you're not good, art is art, there is no right or wrong. Make a beautiful masterpiece that only you can explain.

Read a magazine, Vogue is always a good read, and I recently purchased the Nirvana collectors edition of rolling stones magazine. Find a good book and get so pulled into the story that you lose track of time, just enjoy and let your emotions come out, if something sad happens, cry. Let the book make you mad.

Take a bath, fill the tub all the way up with bubbles or put the little floral mixes in it. (I can not recall the name) let the aroma fill the room and just let your body de-stress.

Give yourself a make-over, do one of those homemade face mask you've been dying to try. Then get yourself dolled up for no other reason than you make yourself happy and feel pretty.

These are just a few of the things I like to do when I try to relax. If you try any of them let me know how it works, and if you do something different that helps to relax please leave a comment below, I would love to hear new things to try.

The Perfect Cat Eye

Now I know we all dream of the perfect cat eye, and when we see girls who look like it took no effort, we envy them. Don't lie, we've all been there, but today I will show you how to achieve that perfect cat eye and how to make it work with any eye shape.

First, to make sure that it will work with your eye shape, you will want to follow the natural line of your bottom lash line. To explain, take the liner and line it as if it were just an extension of the bottom lash line.

Next, connect a top line to your upper lash line, in a triangle shape. this way if you mess up it will be easier to fix than having to take off the entire wing that you filled in.

Third, start about 3/4 of the way down on the outer part of your wing and draw a line across your lid, make this line however thick or thin you would like, again not filling it in. Connect this to the inner corner of your eye. NOTE: If you find it easier to star at the inner corner and work out, then do what works for you.

Fourth, after you have finished with the lines and you are pleased or have fixed any mistakes, then you are ready to fill in the lines. Start by filling in the line that goes across your lid. NOTE: Before going to the next step let the area you just filled in dry, this will result in less smudging.

Fifth, you are going to fill in the wing. Let this dry and then you are ready for mascara, and you have completed your perfect cat eye!

If you try this tutorial please comment how it turned out!

CoverGirl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara Review

This mascara has been one of my favorites for a while. The consistency is smooth and allows easy application. I have had no problem with clumping and this does a great job at lengthening lashes.

The price is amazing for what you get out of the product. And I don't have to curl my lashes for this product to do the job, I acually prefer to use this mascara without curling.

Here is the mascara on without curling my lashes
